Timber Storage
Our timber is kiln dried, stress graded and is preserved using a water based double vacumn pressure impregnation system. This includes protection against insect attack. Our timber is stored under cover at our factory complex.
Environmental Policy
Merronbrook purchase top quality timber from renewable sources mainly in Scandinavia. We are PEFC certified for Chain of Custody and tracking, under Certificate Number BMT-PEFC-0235. We are quality control in accordance with ISO 9002.
Precision Nailing
Automatic nailing via design computers ensures all sheathing and panels are nailed at the correct regulation distances and breather paper is correctly marked at stud positions.
Extensive Working Environment
Large trussed rafter press benches ensure safe and accurate procedures and can accommodate the design of very large attic trusses.
Computerised Cutting Saws
Direct links to design computers ensures accurate and fast cutting of all angles and lengths of required timber.
