Four quick ways to check if our quotes are like-for-like:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. THERMAL<\/p>\n

What is the thermal offering, and how is it being achieved?<\/em><\/p>\n

Merronbrook make it very clear what we\u2019re offering as a typical U-Value, and how it\u2019s achieved (mostly by fitting the very highest quality insulation). The ramifications for how this affects follow-on trades, wall thicknesses, and material costs are all shown. We also provide our own Psi-Values for thermal junctions.<\/p>\n

Many quotes only include for basic insulation and require further enhancements.<\/ins><\/p>\n

2. FIRE SAFETY<\/p>\n

Has a desktop assessment for Fire During Construction been carried out, and has the appropriate spec. been costed for?<\/em><\/p>\n

Where possible, Merronbrook assess this fire risk in accordance with STA guidance, and quote for the enhancements we feel appropriate. We recommend this is looked at early to avoid significant \u2018surprise\u2019 costs later.<\/p>\n

Many quotes make no allowance for enhancing the timber products to the required spec.<\/ins><\/p>\n

3. ON SITE SAFETY<\/p>\n

Is all mechanical handling and specialist delivery equipment included?<\/em><\/p>\n

We never cut corners on safety and always include the appropriate provision of mechanical handling, and we try to make sure we know how deliveries will get onto your site, and be unloaded, and include for this too.<\/p>\n

Many quotes exclude cranes, Hiab offloading, and reduced-access (rigid) lorries.<\/ins><\/p>\n

4. QUALITY<\/p>\n
